MOSCOW — As U.S. president Donald Trump prepares for his highly anticipated meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin this week, sources close to the Kremlin suggest the talks may cover more than just the war in Ukraine.
According to multiple insiders, Putin is believed to be in possession of the complete, unredacted “Epstein Files,” a sprawling archive of documents, photographs, and visitor logs that mysteriously appeared on a Moscow server shortly after Epstein’s arrest. The Russian leader has neither confirmed nor denied holding the files, although one aide admitted Putin “has always had a talent for… acquiring things.”
Trump, meanwhile, is reportedly eager to “tie up some loose ends” before the November midterm election. While official statements frame the meeting as a discussion about “global stability,” one White House source claims the president’s real objective is more personal.
“Let’s just say Ukraine might get a very favorable deal… if certain folders suddenly stop existing,” the source said, requesting anonymity and a new passport.
Geopolitical analysts speculate that if negotiations over the files take priority, the war in Ukraine could unexpectedly shift course. One think tank report even floated the possibility of “full troop withdrawals in exchange for a permanent deletion key.”
When asked whether the Kremlin would use the files as leverage, a Russian spokesperson smiled, adjusted their tie, and said, “We prefer the term ‘shared interests.’”
